Owner and founder of Pedersen Contracting, Marcus Pedersen started his professional career in the construction industry after receiving his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, however, his admiration for the construction industry began much earlier in his life. Growing up around construction and witnessing firsthand the use of large equipment on construction projects and being able to visually see the results of hard work, skilled trades, effective communication, and developing and executing a plan has captivated him throughout his early years and still to this day.

For nearly a decade, Marcus has managed and built large scale commercial civil construction projects throughout Arizona and the United States as a whole and was throughout those years that Marcus’ passion for the construction industry was truly engrained in him. The skills he has developed to be a leader amongst teams, communicate effectively with clients, owners, and owners representatives, and knowledge to take on and build complex projects safely, efficiently, and at the lowest cost is the foundation that Pedersen Contracting is built on and embodied by the culture at Pedersen Contracting.
